Hollywood, CA: LA rockers EVOLOVE (pronounced Eh-Voh-Luv), led by the powerful vocals of singer Lucy Levinsohn, are excited to announce that they will be entering the studio for their fourth release which will be a full album (still untitled) with producer Mikey Doling (Snot, Soulfly, Channel Zero). In today’s singles friendly market it is almost unheard of for most independent artists to record full length albums, but EVOLOVE is not your typical band.

“It has been a while since we recorded new material; it only felt right to put out something substantial and a full length album just feels right! The fact that we get to record with Mikey only makes this THAT much more exciting for us” – Lucy Levinsohn.

Anchored by the twin stack, guitar attack of Dave Corsile and Colby Jensen and bolstered by the propulsive rhythm section of bassist Billy Berman and drummer Andrew Carroll, EVOLOVE, were first thrust into the national spotlight as finalists of the FreeCreditScore.com band search. Debuting the group’s commercial during the MLB All-Star game on FOX, the spot amassed millions of impressions across broadcast and cable spectrums. Significant airplay on outlets such as ESPN, CNN and CNBC led to key placements on ABC’s top-rated teen drama Pretty Little Liars as well as MTV’s hit shows Made, True Life and Teen Mom. Since their formation in 2010 the band has toured the U.S. extensively sharing the stage with acts such as Gemini Syndrome (Warner Bros), Matt Toka (Warner Bros), Butcher Babies (Century Media), Cherri Bomb (Hollywood Records), Valora (Hollywood Records), BlameShift, Stitched Up Heart, Smile Empty Soul, and Neo Geo.

Congratulations Lucy and Billy on the birth of their daughter Zoey Lynn Berman born December 31, 2012. At only 8 days old Zoey is already looking to start guitar lessons so she can rock her daddy’s acoustic guitar.  The EVOLOVE family has officially expanded and so is our music library.  New songs are being written and the band plans on entering the studio early this year to bring new music to you.  Stay tuned!

Tonight is our last show of 2012! In case you haven’t heard the news, we are adding a new member to the EVOLOVE family……I’m having a baby (SURPRISE!) But don’t worry, we will be back in action early next year with NEW MUSIC (a complete new album in the works) & NEW TOURS!

Join us THIS EVENING at The Roxy Theatre in Hollywood for another SPECTACULAR night of Rockstars & Pinups. EVOLOVE will be sharing the stage with great bands like Vera Mesmer, Krashkarma, and Never Like The Movies. We have also invited special guests The Burlesque All Stars, Misty Rose, Push The Girl, and Dolly Danger. Hosted by Jimmy Roc this is sure to be a night you will remember. Join in the fun and dress up!
